Traveling to Honduras in August, the team met with Pastor Nelson and his congregation. The church owns 25 acres just outside of town. They are in the process of building on the property, a new sanctuary and retreat center. Pastor Nelson and the congregation have so graciously donated 3 of those acres to Home On The Range. We are partnering with the church to build a permanent home for orphans.
Partnership. . .a great formula for success.
We found this orphan digging through the garbage on the streets of Catacamas. We asked him where he sleeps at night and he said "Wherever I end up when I'm tired."
(Note: We gave the young boy and lady a donation for allowing us to take their photo.)
My home is the streets of the city.
Talking with this lady, we found out she is homeless. We saw several women like this with their children as we walked around the city.
Homeless, hopeless and forgotten. . . Our desire is to bring hope to women and children like this who make the streets their home.
